Hair cuts, Halloween costumes, and grand openings, oh my!

Today was so fun, and unexpected. I had been planning to sleep in, and maybe go to the gym, and maybe get a hair cut, but not much else. Instead I got to go to the grand opening of the REI at the new Tanasbourne mall. Megan and I went, and we stood inline to try and be the first 300, because they get a free water bottle, and a gift certificate. Well we weren't one of those first 300, but we did get magnets, and Solomon had a ramp and rail set up so they had skiers and snowboarders doing demos. Around 11 they were giving away free stuff' both Megan and I got hats, and she got a backpack that holds a water bladder, we were so happy, because we never get free stuff. Then after that we looked around some of the other stores close by. We ended up going to hot topic and trying on Halloween costumes, that was fun.

later that day I got my hair cut, and the color is almost all gone out of my hair, yay! I'm still adjusting to my hair though, because she thinned the top, and the top is connected to the bottom, and so now my hair is really thin at the bottom. Plus on top of that the layers I got made it even more thin. Oh well I guess I'll just wait for like a year to get it thinned again. Overall though I'm happy with it.

An overview of the week

YAY ITS FRIDAY!!!!! Looking back over the week though it wasn't a bad one at all. It was actually pretty good. I'd have to say though yesterday was a pretty awesome day. In physics we didn't really do anything hard, so that was good, and then in crafts a whole bunch of people came and visited and it was just a big party. Then in health we got to watch a movie, and then I had lunch. And after lunch I was sitting there thinking how much I didn't want to go to chemistry, I wanted to skip sooo bad, but then I decided not to. Boy was that ever the right decision. We get into chemistry, and the lights are off, and there are Christmas lights on, and its so pretty, so that's just great, and then on the board in big letters it says, happy mole day! And there's a picture of a mole in a chef outfit, and it says pi (the symbol, aka 3.14...) ala mole, and the mole is holding a pie. Well I thought that was kinda weird, but the lights were really making me happy so I didn't question it. Then all of a sudden Miss Weidcamp brings out like 10 pies, and all of us are sitting there like, cool we get to do a lab with pies. Then she says, well in honor of mole day we're going to have pie. So we got to have pie and ice cream... Yes that's right, pie and ice cream, just because it was mole day. But back to my original point this week has been good, and Thursday was my favorite. And now it is Friday night, and the weekend lies ahead, it should be a good one.

Mosaic Number Two

Well I finally finished the mosaic I was working on, and then I didn't have anything to do. So I was sitting there for while, and I was trying really hard to think of something to do, and I wanted to do something hard that would take me a long time. At first I thought that I might do the beatles, and do the pic of them where there are four squares, and its like someone has taken pictures of them and just colored them all different colors. But I couldn't' find a picture of that to copy. Then I decided I would go with Van Gough's starry night. So now that's what I'm doing and its a really big one, so it'll probably take me like the rest of the year, but I don't care, I'm really excited about it. I'd have to say that crafts is deffinanlty my favorite class, and you should come visit our class if you have a chance, its third period, and trust me if you visit, you won't be disappointed

Oh another thing, it's been decided that Megan and I are going to be pirates for Halloween. It is going to be so fun!!!

Taking care of business

So today I thought we were going to have a lot of time to slack off but it was all business today. But that's ok, I'm really excited to get working on winter formal because we are going to have a rocking theme this year, I thought it up (but I can't tell you yet, because it's still underwraps.) oh yeah and you guys should all go, because it really will be super super fun. Oh and the other thing we were working on was powder puff, which should be really fun too. So much fun stuff coming up. Those two things, Halloween, Green Day concert, snowboard expo, snowboarding... Junior year rocks! I love it!

Why don't we just drill in Alaska and burn the rain forest while we're at it?

So today I spent a good 2 hours polluting the environment and burning our natural resources (Bush would be proud.) I had been selling wreathes, and I had to go to the Armory to exchange a pair of pants, so I called to make sure I could, and then when I got there they didn't have any xsmalls, so I drove out there for no reason. And then strait from there I went out to Gresham, because I've been wanting to try this new studio forever. But I didn't have time to stop at home, and I thought I'd be able to find it, but of course, I couldn't. So then I thought maybe I'll stop by the Burton world tour thing... But yeah I couldn't remember if it was at exit or not, and I didn't know how to get to exit from the direction I was coming, and on top of that I had been driving around for like 2 hours, so I just went home. I hate doing wasteful things like that.

Monday Monday

You know when you have those days where nothing bad happens, but its just not a really good one. Yeah it was one of those days. It was really rainy and cold, what happened to fall? It was like 70 last week, and then we had like, what a weekend of fall, and now its winter?? What is that? I guess it's kinda nice though, the rain is really relaxing, but too much is depressing. Also I wasn't really that happy with what I was wearing today, and so that just made things worse. I think the other thing that put the day in a funk was that I was having a bad hair day...It was just one of those days where you're hair won't do anything good, so I tried to put it up, and then my bangs, they were just out of control. I have no idea what was going on, but then I tried to straiten them... And yeah that didn't help. haha. I can always tell when its time to get my hair cut, it just stops doing what I want it to do, and everyday it gets a little bit more out of control. That's kinda what's going on now, so I really want to get my hair cut...Well kind of. I want to keep it the same length (...Well actually longer would be nice) but I want to get it cut like Lindsey Lohens ( sp???) I don't think I even have enough hair for that.... Oh well I won't get it cut till this weekend anyways, so I'll have time to think about it. Oh man I got so off subject, haha. Oh, wait one good thing did happen today! In crafts I finally got to finish my mosaic, I've been waiting for about a month now to finish it because I haven't had the right glass, and Mr. Hack had to go get it. But yeah, so now all I have left to do is grout it, I'm sooo excited for it to be done! I had forgotten all about that, but yay! Now I have something to look forward to doing tomorrow. Oh yeah and the other thing have to look forward to is starting at that new studio that I haven't had a chance to go to. The only thing that could throw a wrench in that would be if my tutouror has to help me during that time, which would make me really unhappy. Oh yeah and another thing, if I go and class gets over early enough I might be able to go to this snowboarding thing in Portland, wow I guess I have a lot to look forward to tomorrow. Cool I'm excited.
